Put your clean jewelry in a resealable plastic bag. This will protect the jewelry and make it look great when it arrives. If you want to add an extra gift to your jewelry, you can put the jewelry in a drawstring jewelry bag, or instead of a plastic bag.
Bubble wrap the jewelry in the bag. Pack the jewelry bag carefully and do not bend or damage the jewelry. To really protect your jewelry from being damaged in the mail, you can put it in an appropriately sized jewelry box with cotton inside. Tape the wrapped jewelry to the inside of the jewelry box.
Attach wrapped jewelry to a friendly note or receipt. This is so that the person receiving the jewelry will not be unaware of why they are receiving the jewelry. Sometimes people forget that they are waiting for a package to arrive. Writing a friendly text would be a nice gesture to remind them of the jewelry.
Place the wrapped jewelry in a padded envelope with the note. You can also use a small shipping box if the padded envelope is too small. If you have business cards, you can also put them in an envelope. Close the padded envelope. Usually these shipping envelopes have an adhesive to seal them. Put tape on the seal to make sure the envelope won‘t open. Now write your return address and the address of the person who received the jewelry on the envelope.
Put an appropriate amount of postage on the parcel. Send jewelry packages to your local post office. Some post offices have automated systems that allow you to weigh packages and pay for postage without the help of a postal worker. If you don‘t know how to send it, just wait in line at the post office and the postal staff will help you. Make sure you have the address of the person receiving the jewelry.
If you have a paypal account, you can pay and print postage. Using PayPal to print postage saves you the trouble of driving to the post office. Once you have the printed postage, cut it out along the indicating line and tape it firmly to the envelope.
Drop the wrapped jewelry in a mailbox at any post office and the jewelry will be delivered to its destination.
